FreePBX is a web-based open source graphical user interface (GUI) that manages Asterisk, a voice over IP and telephony server.
We have FreePBX templates that can be installed to your VPS within minutes. Server installation is NOT required on your part. Our templates are clean installs with the latest security updates applied. You will simply visit https://your-server-ip/ and start your FreePBX server configuration.
As with all of WLH servers, we give our customers full control. You will still have root ssh access to your server. All ports are open and can be protected using the included firewall and security features in FreePBX.
After your server is activated, you will receive an email with instructions on how to manage your server. We want to make the FreePBX setup process easier by eliminating the lengthy server installation part. This allows our customers to move directly in to the web based/browser configuration phase. FreePBX also have a terrific wiki page that explains how to configure your new server.
